Bake Lite Phenolic Cue Tip
By John from , Loris, SC on March 4, 2014
Great tip,it really works on blasting breaks on both 8 and 9 ball racks.Big difference from my original tip(which was just a stock screw on tip) Also have had NO damage to cue ball at all like some people have said (have own table) Only problem I had was getting tip to stay on stick ( Loctite super glue gel did not work very long and tip came off while breaking.Fixed problem with Loctite plastic apoxy.Have not had any problems since.I play in an APA league never have had tip come off.

Breaking Ability
By Eddie Marshall from Gainesville, Fla. on April 19, 2013
My Actibought it from on Break Cue when I bought it had a leather tip on it. I reeally don't know if it came with the cue as I bought it from a Pawn shop. I changed to the Bake Light Phenolic Tip and whammo much more bang for the buck so to say. What an amazing improvement. I would reccomend to anyone who has a dedicated break stick to use this tip and see the 100% improvement.

Like a rock!!!
By Sean from , Limcoln Pk , Mi on January 20, 2013
Since installing on my Jump/Break que I can actually jump successfully. The tip that came with the McDermat que kind of sucked. I am breaking much harder with more control and lumping a q-ball is almost effortless. AMAZING!

I do not understand this request.
By Norman from Glen Burnie, MD on October 16, 2011
I have a Player's Break Cue with the Bake Lite tip. It is great. You can use the break cue with this tip like a regular cue. The only problem is the sound when you hit an individual ball. On the break, you do not hear the sound. I am now using it regularly. You never have to worry about the tip losing its' shape. Just keep it chalked and don't try to use extreme English, because you will miscue. I draw the cue ball the entire length of the table with this tip. The only thing I get tired of are players accusing me of a miscue which I'm not. It just sounds that way sometimes.

Good Quality
By Rhys from NC on October 11, 2011
Bought a lot of it, to use with my breaking stick because you just can't beat the price. May be that was a bad idea since it doesn't wear easily and is probably going to last me for years. I'm still stuck on the first tip.

best choice
By ken bettinger from north carolina on August 11, 2011
This tip arrived guickly with no hassles. This tip performes as good as any other phenolic I have used. The best part is it came preshapped. I just glued it on and was ready to go. It is difficult to shape a phenolic without a lathe.

Good tip for the money

Good Value, And It Works
By RJ from Radford, VA on April 15, 2011
I put this on my Viking Fat Daddy Break and it works pretty well. The only issue I would worry about is if it not exactly a 13mm, you cannot burnish it as it is phenolic. Mine fits just barely, but works well enough. you can only shape it with a williard shaper, you will destroy your cue cube. It is a bake lite which gives you better ball control over a regular phenolic. Good Value

Will last forever!
By Marco from Los Angeles on April 11, 2011
Very hard, excellent tip for the price... You will need a lathe to install properly.

Bake Lite Phenolic BREAK - JUMP Pool Cue Tip
By Eugene from Clovis, CA on February 2, 2011
This tip is less expensive than the Tiger Icebreaker, and seems to perform almost as well. It's designed to resist mushrooming from sledgehammer type crushing breaks, and save your playing cue from this type of abuse. It has been basically shaped from the factory, so there's a minimum of further work to complete.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Power for Breaking
By Joe from Cleveland, Ohio on February 17, 2010
These tips make a big difference in your breaking power. The first time I broke with one, the cue ball flew completely off the table! Use about 85% of your usual force and you should be just fine.

Good break tip
By John from Michigan on February 12, 2010
I bought this for my break cue. The tip is very hard and should last forever. Gives a nice "punch" to the balls.

Phenolic tip
By Jack from Fort Branch, IN on February 3, 2010
I played with one of these tips for a while. I thought it broke well, but I had trouble controlling the cue ball with it and was scratching a lot. I changed to a white diamond and won't switch back.

phenolic tip
By Logan from va on November 18, 2009
good tip so far. i just put it on today and tried it on my jump cue and it instantly gave it more life. i can literally jump a ball almost 2 feet in the air with it. its so much cheaper than the other ones and it performs great. i would definitely buy this tip again

Phenolic cue tip
By Greg on October 16, 2008
I had purchased a Player\'s Sneaky Pete cue with a Phenolic Cue tip and I must say I have had it for a year - I play every day for at least 2 to 3 hours per day and wow - that is the best setup I\'v had in years. When I break, I make a ball 8 out of 10 times in 8 ball and 9 out of 10 times in 9 ball. The combination is absolutely fabulious. Thank you for the excellant judgment call.
